• Office Hours & Public Meeting
  • Upper Chichester Township Building – the second Wednesday of each month on a recurring basis. Next Date: Wednesday, September 9^th from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Aston Township Building – the first Monday of each month on a recurring basis. (Postponed to October due to Labor Day holiday) Next Date: Monday, October 5^th from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Bethel Township – At the request of Bethel Township, these office hours have been discontinued. MIPC remains available via our hotline (610-364-8426) and this email address.
• Additional information:
  • Vapor Intrusion near-source and sub-slab monitoring points clarification: Monitoring will be in place for several years, until it is clear that there is no current or future risk of the plume causing vapor intrusion issues. According to MIPC’s implementation schedule, which has been approved by DEP, the demonstration of attainment of a cleanup standard and the Act 2 final report are due in 2030; therefore, vapor intrusion monitoring may be required at least until that time.
  • While no potable wells have had gasoline-related compounds detected above the MSCs, bottled water continues to be offered to all residences within 1,000 feet of the facility’s western property boundary that utilize a potable well as their drinking water source. Per DEP’s order, “MIPC shall continue supplying bottled water to these properties until MIPC obtains Department approval to continue.” DEP has not yet discussed lifting the bottled water requirement of the order.
