CHOICES Youth Group
CHOICES is CRCQL’s Environmental Justice Youth Leadership Group which provides a safe space for Chester youth (8 – 18 years old) to discuss environmental concerns and learn how to organize and take action. Chester youth selected the name CHOICES to embody their desire to help others in making positive choices that better their community.

CHOICES 1st Environmental Justice Youth Summit
The first Environmental Justice Youth Summit hosted by CHOICES and CRCQL was a success, showcasing young leaders’ dedication to topics like pollution and recycling. Highlights included a Zero Waste icebreaker, expert presentations, and the debut of CHOICES’ environmental justice music video, Through the Smoke, created with artist Wudxa. Yashvi’s presentation on using AI and animation for advocacy also stood out. The event’s success was due to the hard work of CRCQL members, supportive parents, and community partners. Plans are underway for an even bigger summit next year.
