CHOICES visits Urban Roots Farm

On Saturday, June 13th, CHOICES visited Urban Roots Farm, a 26 acre farm located in Newtown Square. This farm is committed to growing healthy, delicious, and chemical-free produce. CHOICES members learned about what it takes to run a sustainable farm, produce nutritious food, and how to be a good steward of the land.

CHOICES is our environmental justice youth group based out of Chester. Our CHOICES members participate in field trips like this all throughout the year and learn about the importance of caring for our environment. They not only learn how to physically care for their environment but also how to advocate for it by developing essential leadership skills.
